A Time to be Born

On July 16, 1971, a bundle of joy was born to Mr. Willie Lee Jefferson and Mrs. Rebecca Lee Jefferson in Worth County, Georgia.

A Time to be Educated

Rosie received her education in the Dougherty County School System and graduated from Dougherty Comprehensive High School in the year of 1989.

A Time to Worship

At an early age, Rosie accepted Christ as her personal savior and was baptized at Zion Grove Baptist Church of Worth County. She later joined the Pleasant Hill Baptist Church.

A Time to Transition

Rosie gained her wings on January 21, 2023, at home. Greeting her at Heaven’s gates was her sister, Willie Mae Jefferson. Our hearts are filled with sorrow, but heaven has welcomed a faithful servant. Now the roll can be called. She leaves to cherish her precious memories, her loving mother, Rebecca Jefferson; an amazing father, Willie Jefferson; her beautiful daughters, Antqunnette and Lakeesha; her handsome sons, Corey and Malik; grandsons, Rodriques and Jayce; and one granddaughter, Kensely; sisters, Inez Jefferson of West Palm Beach, FL. and Jacqueline (Sam) Smith of Sylvester, GA.; brother, Willie (Shareshia) Jefferson of Albany, GA; a special friend, Tameca Henderson; and a host of nieces, nephews and friends.
