Mr. Willie Simmons Sr.

Mr. Willie F. Simmons Sr. was born on June 20, 1947 to the late J.C. and Frances Simmons in Calhoun County, Georgia. Willie Frank transitioned this life on January 26, 2020 at Madison Healthcare in Macon, GA.  At an early age, he joined Ebenezer Missionary Baptist Church, under the leadership of the late Rev. J.W. Whitehead.

He united in holy matrimony to Patsy Thomas and to this union, three children were born, Willie Jr., Tracy, and Tonya. He was employed at Bob’s Candy Company for over Twenty-five years.  He was preceded in death by three sisters, Bertha Harper, Mollie Peterson and Annie Mason and six brothers, Clarence, Robert, C.J., K.C., O.W. and Eddie Simmons. Frank will be truly missed by his loving family and friends.

He leaves to cherish his memories, his loving wife, Patsy Thomas Simmons, his loving children, Willie Frank Simmons Jr., Tracy B. Simmons., and Tonja Simmons Williams (Jes) all of Albany, GA, Five grandchildren, three great grandchildren, one sister, Mamie Anthony of Albany, GA, three brothers, Charlie (Rose), Willie E. Sr. both of Albany, GA, a very special brother, Johnny Simmons of Atlanta, GA, and a host of special nieces, nephews, cousins, and friends.
