Mrs. Sallie Rea Williams was born December 8, 1941 to the late John Perry and
late Emma Mae Carter.
She received her education at Lee County Training School. She was employed by
Lee County Manufacturing, M&M Mars, and Proctor and Gamble, both in Albany,
Georgia. She later also worked for Home Health Care Services.
She later married Robert Lee Williams on June 10, 1963.
Sallie was well-known and liked.
In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband, Robert
Lee Williams; one brother, John Perry Carter; one sister, Martha Phillip; one
granddaughter, Sakia Latice Jackson.
She leaves a legacy behind to cherish her memories four children, Bobby D.
Williams of Leesburg, Georgia, Charles B. Williams (Sherri) and David E. Williams
(Juanita) of Macon, Georgia, Carolyn Jackson of Albany, Georgia; four sisters,
Julia Roberts, and Lizzie Stokes (James) of Leesburg, Georgia, Bessie Pollard
(James) of Philadelphia, Pennsylvania, Dice Carter of Albany, Georgia; five
grandchildren, four great grandchildren, and host of nieces, nephews, cousins,
and friends.
