Mrs. Rosemary Lawrence-Duru

Ms. Rosemary Lawrence Duru was born April 15, 1957 in Camilla, Ga. She joined Walker Street Church of God in Christ at an early age. She was educated in Mitchell County School System.
She retired from Dougherty County School System as a Nutritionist with a passion for cooking. One of her specialties was her famous strawberry cake.

She was a loving and devoted mother to Carisa Deandra Duru who preceded in death. She was also preceded in death by a dear sister Nadean Lawrence and a loving sister-in-law Melva Mitchell-Jackson. She departed this life on September 28, 2018.

She leaves to cherish her precious memories a loving and devoted mother Earnestine Lawrence and sister Sandra Lawrence both of Albany, Ga. One brother Napoleon Jackson and a niece Jerrie Jackson (Damien) King of Baconton, Ga. Two special cousins Ada Brown and Beverly Poon both of Camilla, Ga. Her best friend Robin Renay (Willie) Roberts of Albany, Ga. Three adopted nieces Jessica, Ashley, and Courtney Leggett of Albany, Ga. and a host of other relatives and friends.
