Linda L. Reynolds was born November 23, 1956 to the late Willie James
Carr and the late Ella Ree Carr in Blakely, Georgia. Linda was one of seven
siblings.
Linda Reynolds was a 1975 graduate of Early County High School. Linda
graduated from Bainbridge State College with an Associate degree in Early
Childhood Education. She was employed with the Early County School
System at the elementary school.
At an early age, Linda joined the Rosinvick Missionary Baptist Church in
Blakely, Georgia. Linda was a dedicated and committed member to her
church. She served and worked in many capacities of the church down
through the years. At the time of her passing, she was the youth director,
decorator, and custodian. Linda was a member of the Electra Grand
Chapter of Eastern Star for thirty-two years. Also, Linda was a member of
Women of War Ministry. Linda was dedicated to the Lord. She served him
faithfully unto death.
Linda went home to be with the Lord on February 25, 2021. She was
preceded in death by her parents, Willie James, and Ella Ree Carr; brother,
Sol Edward Stapleton; sister, Irene Chambers.
Linda leaves to cherish her memory, one son, Marsonia (Lisa) Reynolds, II
of Moreno Valley, CA; three sisters, Carolyn Holmes, Laura (Sammy) Harris, both
of Blakely, GA, Wynell Ellis, Philadelphia, PA; two brothers, James (Mary)
Carr, Blakely, GA; Billy Jackson, Orlando, FL; three grandchildren,
Devonte, Reynolds, Vanessa Reynolds, Darla Reynolds and a host of
nieces, nephews, other relatives, and friends. A very special friend, Mr.
Jerry Lett.
