Ms. Linda Emily Johnson-Coulter, the seventh child to the union of the late Rev. Johnnie and Ophelia Clark-Johnson, was born in Dawson, Georgia (Terrell County). Linda peacefully transitioned from her earthly home on the 10th of March 2021.

She received her childhood education in the Dougherty County School System. Linda was a 1972 graduate of Monroe High School. After graduation, Linda moved to Washington, D.C. and began her career with the Federal Bureau of Investigation. She later retired from Proctor and Gamble after 22 years.

Four brothers preceded her in death, Johnnie, Del Leon, Clayton, and Dreillie Joe Johnson. She was united in holy matrimony to Monroe Coulter. They are God-Parents to Alicia Hardy-Drake.

Her early religious training was in the Bethel AME Church. She later joined Christian Life Missionary Baptist Church. She served faithfully in the Seniors’ and Youth Ministries until her health declined. “Auntie Linda” as she was affectionately known, has (3) aunts, Essie Willis, Carrie Odom, and Veronica Tidmore all of Cleveland, OH., (23) nieces/nephews, (77) great-nieces/nephews, (31) great-great nieces/ nephews who will surely miss her and those famous peanut butter fingers!
