Mrs. Kimberly Williams

March 29, 1971 — February 13, 2021

Kimberly Campbell Williams, age 49, departed this life to be with the
Lord on Saturday, February 13, 2021, while in the care of physicians at
Northside Gwinnett Hospital.
Kim was born March 29, 1971, to Florenda Campbell and Kelvin
Crawford in Albany, Georgia. She was joined in holy matrimony to
Roderick K. Williams on February 10, 1994. After spending time in
Virginia Beach, Virginia, Kim and her family settled and built their life
in Lawrenceville, Georgia.
Kim was a proud graduate of Monroe Comprehensive High School,
Class of 1989. She continued her education at Albany Technical
Institute where she pursued a degree in early childhood care and
education. A lifelong learner, Kim had recently completed a bachelor’s
degree from Liberty University. She spent the last several years of her
life as an advocate for America’s heroes at the Veterans Benefits
Administration.
Kim’s love for her family and friends went beyond measure. Kindness,
generosity and laughter infused her every interaction. Kim’s jovial spirit
and giving heart left everyone she crossed paths with encouraged and
fulfilled. Always willing and ready to share love through her
extraordinary cooking, no guest ever left her home without a full belly
and full heart.
Kim is survived by her ever-loving husband Roderick; devoted children
Kenesia, Roderick Jr., and Channin; adoring grandchildren Brooke
and Aiden; cherished mother Florenda and father Kelvin; inspiring
sister Sonya Acree (Greg); beloved twin brother Kendall Campbell;
dear brother LeConté Campbell; caring brother Kelvin Crawford Jr.;
treasured grandmother Victoria Williams Ates; mother-in-law Mary
Juliette Williams; niece and namesake Kimberly Bailey; chosen sister
Voneeka Campbell Stubbs; and a host of aunts, uncles, cousins and
friends who are deeply saddened by the loss of such an indelible pillar
of the Williams and Campbell families.
