The world was blessed in a special way when Eva Annette “Tiny” Williams made her debut on August 26, 1947 in Mitchell County, Georgia. She was the daughter of the late Mr. Charlie Quimbley and Mrs. Bessie Briley Quimbley. She was preceded in death by her mother and father; one brother, Ulyseec Quimbley.
Eva was united in holy matrimony to Freddie Williams, Sr. on November 21, 1964 and to this union seven children were born.
Eva accepted Christ as her personal Savior at an early age and joined the Bethel Missionary Baptist Church in Camilla, Georgia where she served as a faithful member until her health began to decline. Eva attended the Camilla Consolidated School in Mitchell County, Georgia. She was employed by Darwood Manufactory, Goody’s Manufactory, and Mitchell Manufactory in her early life and later began her employment at Equity Group of Mitchell County until her retirement. After her retirement, Eva started her career as a Private Sitter for several years. In her leisure she enjoyed traveling, spending time with her family and friends, and shopping with her loving daughter.
In accordance with our Heavenly Father’s plan, on Saturday morning, August 18, 2018, Eva Annette “Tiny” Williams departed this life at Phoebe Putney Memorial Hospital in Albany, Georgia, surrounded by her loving family.
She leaves to cherish her fond and loving memories, a devoted husband of 53 years, Freddie Williams, Sr. of Camilla, Georgia; a loving and devoted daughter, Latonya (Jeffery) Wakefield of Camilla, Georgia; six loving sons, Freddie (Josephine) Williams Jr., Keith Williams, Timothy Williams, Sr., Jasen Williams, Sr., all of Camilla, Georgia; Gregory (Delicia) Williams, Sr. of Norman Park, Georgia; Kim (Sheliah) Williams of Atlanta, Georgia; four sisters, Lula Mae Knight of Moultrie, Georgia; Annie Lois (Jerry) Burley of Camilla, Georgia; Mable Quimbley (Frank) White of New York City; Emma Ruth (Climmie) Wimberly of Lithonia, Georgia; six brothers, Charlie James Quimbley of Baconton, Georgia; Lewis Grady (Ann) Quimbley and Devon (Nancy) Quimbley both of New York City; Edgar Green (Sherri) Quimbley of Griffin, Georgia; Herbert Quimbley of South Carolina; Marvin Quimbley of Atlanta, Georgia; one sister-in-law, Artie Carol Brown, of Atlanta, 39 grandchildren, 23 great-grandchildren, and a host of nieces, nephews, cousins and friends.
