On Tuesday afternoon, August 23, 2016, Mrs. Anna Lou Thompson, who was loved by many, passed on to a new life.
Mrs. Thompson was born in Pelham, Georgia (Mitchell County) to the late Fellom and Mary Francis Alexander, on April 23, 1932. She was educated in the Mitchell County School System. She later relocated to Albany, Georgia. After completing high school Anna attended college in Savannah, Georgia before transferring to Albany State University.
