The season of Life for Alice Mae Taylor Watson, began on January 7, 1933, as one of sixteen children, born to the late Ronney Taylor and the late Tassie Kimbell Taylor in Terrell County, Georgia. Her season of life ended on Sunday, March 29, 2020. She was 87 years old and was preceded in death by all of her siblings.

During her lifetime, she attended Terrell County Public Schools. She attended a number of churches, prior to her joining Beulah Baptist Church, where she was a faithful member for 50 plus years. She served as a general mission worker and would go out to visit the sick and shut in until her health did not allow her to do so anymore. She was very active in Sunday School and attended bible study until she was unable to attend.

She was employed at John Sims Donut and Bakery Shop for a number of years. She also was employed at Bob’s Candy Company as a packer and retired after 30 plus years. Alice was also a Certified Nursing Assistant, working in Home Health.  She fully devoted her time to serving God and caring for people. She especially loved her children and had a soft spot in her heart for all of her grandchildren. She loved her church family and always showed love for anyone that she came in contact with. She enjoyed life and enjoyed traveling and doing various puzzles to “keep her mind sharp” as she would say. Most of all she was a faithful servant of God until the end.

She was married to the late Willie C. Watson for many years and was the mother of six children. She was preceded in death, by one son, Cornell Watson.

She leaves to cherish her memories, five children, Vernon Watson (Develyn), Brenda Spry (Clifford), Deborah Hill (Chris) all of Albany, GA, Pamela Bolden (Ezekiel) of Madison, AL, and Ervin Watson (Andrea) of Tifton, GA and grandchildren, great grandchildren, great-great grandchildren, nieces, nephews, and other relatives and friends
