On May 20th 1964, in Albany Georgia, David and Leila Clinton Sr. were blessed with a beautiful daughter named Virginia, better known as “Bebie.” Virginia received her education in the Dougherty County School System and was a graduate of Albany High School, Class of 1983.
She was preceded in death by her parents, David and Leila Clinton and her siblings, Cora White, Emma, Sammie, and David Clinton Jr.
She leaves to mourn her departing a loving daughter, Tichina King, (Sheena) of Albany, Georgia.
Virginia was a kind soul that got along with everyone. She lived 57 glorious years as a mother and a long standing, early childhood educator. She had a heart of gold, and her intentions were always pure. Her hobbies included childcare, baking, decorating, and word puzzles.
If I could describe her as anything, I’d say she was our own personal angel. She cared for us, ensured that we were safe, bathed us, fed us, never got angry with us, or even as much as lifted a finger at us. As we continue living our days on earth. I only hope to be as patient, kind, and loving as Virginia was at the conclusion of her life.
She also leaves to mourn her departing, her siblings, Susie (Late John Thomas) of Albany, GA, Bessie (Clifford) Hambrick of Augusta, GA, and Mary Jane Wiggins of Albany, GA, an aunt, Queen E. Williams of Leesburg, GA, a brother-in-law, Zertie B. White of Leesburg, GA, and a host of nieces, nephews, cousins and friends.
