Our loving sister, Lucille Johnson-Battle made her transition on Wednesday, November 1, 2023 at her residence in Albany, Georgia. She was born to the late Alice Johnson and Jordan Jones on October 22, 1937 in Sylvester, Georgia.
Lucille attended the public schools in Worth County.
Lucille carried a smile that could brighten up any room that she entered. She was a person that we can live up to in the kindness that she have shown us though the years. Her life here was a demonstration of unconditional love for those in her life. So let this day and any future memories of this wonderful woman be a celebration of love, for that is truly who she was authentically. We are thankful for all the years God shared her with us. Now God has called her back home after a job well done.
She was preceded in death by her parents, three brothers Johnny, David and Wil, and two sisters.
Lucille leaves behind two brothers, Charles Jones and Robert Fowler; two sisters, Pearl Fowler and Betty (James) Harris, and a host of nieces, nephews, family and friends.
