Mrs. Katherine Diane Hood

 Katherine Macfarlane-Hood was the daughter of the late Robert W. Macfarlane Hood Sr & Janet J. Macfarlane. Katherine is survived by her companion of 30 years Bud Umpers, Brother Robert W. Macfarlane Jr, daughter Ashley Jarrett, son Marcus Hood and nephew David Macfarlane. Kate was a veteran who served in the Air Force after high school. She settled in Albany, GA.

 Katherine loved animals - specifically canines & had a very special admiration for Chihuahua's. She possessed incredible talent for art, photoshop as well as editing. Most recently, she spent much of her time running her online groups Chi Nation Portraits, Dogs in the Hood, Country Canine's & Across the Rainbow Gate Bridge. Katherine loved to help people by creating beautiful artwork. It was through her own personal grief of losing Tiney, she helped many others who grieved their losses by creating beautiful memorials of their beloved fur children in a place called Across the Rainbow Gate Bridge. Kate made many friends through her groups and we will all miss her dearly.
