Mrs. Irene White

Irene Morris White, child of God, was born in Overton, TX to the late Helen and Allen Morris, Sr on May 6, 1933.

She grew up in Texas but spent a significant portion of her life in Panama City, Florida. She spent the last years of her life in Albany, GA. She left this world to be in the presence of the Lord on February 2, 2023. She passed away in her sleep from natural causes.

During her life Mrs. Irene was a caregiver and spiritual counselor. She worked in nursing until she retired. She cared for the sick, gave to those in need, helped raised her family, and was always praying for someone.

She was preceded in death by her three children, Billy Jean Johnson, Norris White, and Earnest White, three siblings, Aline Hatter, Nancy Morris, Allen Morris, Jr.

She is survived by her two daughters Nancy Mathews (Walter)and Zerettia McGriff (John), two sisters Edna Mercer and Ann Hayes. She has a host of grandchildren, great-grandchildren, and great-great grandchildren who love her dearly. Her family and friends extend to Albany, GA, Barstow, CA, Panama City, FL, Longview, TX, Las Vegas, NV, Dayton, OH, and many other places in the United States. An evangelist and a prophet, Sister White loved the Lord and served Him until He called her home. Her prayers and devotion to her family will be remembered.
