Mrs. Audrey Cythenia Mitchell
Mrs. Audrey Price Mitchell was born in Albany, Georgia to the late Ezekiel and Lucile Price on June 5, 1949.
She joined Mt. Zion Baptist Church at an early age. Later in life, she moved her membership to US19 Church of Christ and was currently attended Eastside Church of Christ under leadership of Brother Jesse Jackson, Sr.
Audrey graduated from Monroe High School, Albany, Georgia. After high school, Audrey attended and graduated from Albany State University. Audrey worked for the Dougherty County School System. She taught school for over twenty years at Albany High School and later taught at Merry Acres Middle School for over five years before she retired from the Dougherty School System.
Audrey departed this life on June 7, 2022. She was preceded in death by her parents; one son, Erik Vincal Mitchell; a brother, Cedric Price; a sister, Janice Richardson.
Mrs. Audrey Price Mitchell leaves to cherish her memory two brothers, Jimmy (Brucie) Price, Macon, GA and Brian (Jennifer) Price, Sr., Albany, GA; her nieces and nephews, Carla, Jamelia, Rosalyn, Jermaine, and Kristin (her son, Marcus) of Macon, GA, Marcus (Jennifer), Brian, Jr. (Lashonon) and Kevin (Lekendria) of Albany, GA, Demetrius Richardson (his children D’Vontrey, Devon, Jecika, Marquis, Derion, Deshaun), Duluth, GA, DeVante Price, Woodstock Acworch, GA and a host of cousins and friends.
