Mother Annie Pearl Bridges West completed her earthly assignment on July 7, 2022. She was 96.
Annie was born February 6, 1926 in Buena Vista, Georgia to the late Walter Asbury Bridges, Sr. and Dollie Owens Bridges. Annie was the fourth of six children born to that union. She also loved gardening, both vegetable and flower gardens.
During her adult years she completed the Nursing Assistant course at Albany Technical School and was hired as a Nursing Assistant in 1973 for Palmyra Park Hospital in Albany. She retired from full-time employment in 1988
Annie was preceded in death by her parents, her six siblings, and two of her sons, Luther and Rudolph. She leaves to cherish her memories daughters Annette of Albany, Sandra, Teresa, and Yvonne all of Lithonia, Georgia; and her sons Gary of Albany, Joseph (Florencia) of Columbus, Georgia, and Herbert (Belinda) of Albany.
