Mrs. Andrea Mechelle Brown-Spence was born to Varmin “Deese” Brown, Sr., and Cathy R. Brown on June 19, 1984, in Albany, Georgia. She joined Mt. Calvary Missionary Baptist Church and was baptized at a very young age by the late Rev. R.N. Elzia.
She received her early childhood education in the Dougherty County School System in Albany, Georgia, and graduated from Monroe High School in 2002. Andrea was well-known for her sweet disposition and passion for cheerleading. Following in her father’s footsteps, Andrea pursued a career as a Certified Surgical Technologist after graduating from Albany Technical College in 2007. Andrea loved taking care of people, dedicating herself to their well-being with compassion and skill in the operating room.
Andrea was joined in holy matrimony at Friendship Missionary Baptist Church to Milton Spence III on April 9th, 2016. To their union, two beautiful children were born: Milton C. Spence IV and Madison E. Spence. Andrea and Milton relocated to Sunrise, Florida, where they began building their foundation. While in Florida, Andrea continued her career and, through her hard work and dedication, she was promoted to a Robotics Surgical Tech and joined the Cardiovascular Surgery Team.
On Thursday, June 14th, 2024, God peacefully called His butterfly home to rest her wings. She leaves a legacy of love and gratitude to comfort her husband of 10 years, Milton Spence III, her children, Milton C. Spence IV, and Madison E. Spence, her parents, Varmin D.
