On March 10, 1978 in Calhoun County, Georgia, John Deric Moore was born to the late Annie Maude and late John J. Moore. He attended Calhoun County school system until he moved to Melbourne, Florida. John graduated from Melbourne High School Class of 1997. At an early age, John joined the Mt. Zion Missionary Baptist Church under the leadership of Reverend Johnny Kegler. John was married to the former April Fletcher in 1998. April was a devoted wife, companion, and caretaker of John. To this union three children were born: sons, John Deric Moore, Jr., Marvin Moore, and daughter, Jasmine Shakyra Moore, all of Melbourne, Florida. He worked at Ryan’s Steakhouse and the Brevard County School System until his health failed. John’s favorite pastimes was traveling, working on cars, and family outings. John departed his earthly life on Friday evening, June 5, 2020, at his home. Preceding him in death were his parents and twin brother, James Eric Moore. John leaves to cherish his memory, his loving wife, April Moore; two sons: John Moore and Marvin Moore; a daughter, Jasmine Moore; a brother, Jeremiah Moore; three brothers-in-law, Darrell Fletcher, Antonio Jackson, and Andra Fletcher, all of Melbourne, FL; an aunt, Shirley Williams (Charlie) of Arlington, GA; great-aunt, Corene Robinson of Atlanta, GA; a close friend, Fatima Moxey of Cocoa, FL and a host of nieces, nephews, cousins, and friends.
