Mr. Calvin Scott

Calvin Allen Scott aka Scotty was born April 30, 1942 in Albany Georgia to the late Willie Boston Scott & Rosetta Scott Key. He graduated from Monroe High school in Albany Georgia. Post graduation he enlisted in the United States Army where he faithfully served 23 years as a weapons instructor including two tours in Vietnam and Purple Heart recipient.
Calvin married his best friend and the love of his life, Carol Scott April 22, 1982 and from that marriage came six children united as one family. One proceeded him in death Calvin L. Scott, Kimberly Scott (Tampa FL, Carla McAfee (Atlanta GA), Winifred King (Enterprise, AL), Michael Dovidio (Yuma, AZ), and Pam Sloan (Oxnard, CA).
Calvin will always be remembered for his big smile and his infectious laugh. He would do anything to help a friend in need. He loved fishing and a good party. He loved his children and had a special place in his heart for all his grandkids.
He is survived by three sisters and two brothers. Mary Jones (Fred Jones) Melva Williams, Mammie Benjamin, Freddie Key (Nadine Key), Dr. Johnnie Scott (Jackie Scott) and the late A.C Scott( Carrie Scott) and Brady Key (Maxine Key). He had a beautiful set of grandchildren, great grandchildren, nieces, nephews, and friends
