A season of life began for Willie "Bill" Jones, Jr., in Birmingham, Alabama, when the seeds were planted by the late Willie Jones, Sr., and Marie Patton on September 27, 1957.
At an early age Willie received Christ. He continued serving the Lord throughout his adult life, and upon moving to Albany, Georgia, he joined the Bethel AME Church. He was active in the church by serving where he felt he was needed.
