Mr. James Elbert Hightower

James Elbert Hightower passed away peacefully in his sleep after battling a lengthy illness.He was born in Smithville, Georgia to James E. Hightower and Julia Hightower.

James was preceded in death by his parents and his wife Betty Jean Hightower. He is survived by his three children, James E. Hightower, Jr., Denise Lockett, and Michael Hightower, three sisters and four brothers, Mary Jane Hightower, Doris Mae Stafford, Annie Ruth McCoy, Henry Barnes, William Barnes, Tom Jr. Barnes, Charlie Hightower. seven grand children, Nekeshia Hightower, James Davis, and Jamaria Hightower, Tay Hightower, Ty’Yonya Milner, Kelton Hightower, Jace Lockett and Jada Lockett, 4 great grandchildren and a host of nieces and nephews.
