Mr. Erick Smoak

August 8, 1992 — May 18, 2024

Erick N. Smoak, beloved son of Leslie Frazier and Erick Smoak, peacefully passed away on May 18, 2024 at Emory Hillandale Hospital, leaving a legacy of love and memories. Erick joined Pleasant View M. B. Church at an early age and became a choir member. In pursuit of knowledge, he attended New Hope Pre-K in Pelham, Georgia, Mitchell Co. Elementary in Camilla, Georgia, Canby Lane Elementary in Decatur, Georgia, Bethune Middle School and Towers High School in Decatur, Georgia, excelling academically and made lasting friendships.

He was preceded in death by his grandparents Remell Hines, Virginia Frazier, Douglas Frazier, Christine W. Robinson, and Eugene E. Smoak.

In addition to his parents, Leslie and Erick, Erick also leaves to cherish loving memories his siblings: Alton Frazier, Javarros Frazier, Alexis Smoak, Mathis Bryant, and Tyquarius Williams; devoted friend and bonus daughter: Shurnika Silas and Kaitlyn Franklin; cousins: Johnesha Florence, Nyla Dudley, Kejuan Alexander, Jakiah Frazier, Jawan Jackson, Jamari Jackson, Japresia Hines, Camron Hines, Quayshon Hardy, and Charlie Ross; aunts & uncles: Kelly Frazier, Valerie Frazier, Sherry Story (Micah), Preston Hines, Eugenia Smoak, Cassandra Sheppard, Lovetta Dudley, Harriett Sheppard, Pamela Florence, Andrea Florence, Fredrick Florence (Amber), and John Florence, III (Candy). He is also survived by a host of other relatives.
