Mr. David Clark passed away peacefully at Phoebe Putney Memorial Hospital on Thursday, September
21, 2023. David was born on September 11, 1954 in Camilla, GA to Willie Clark and the late Dollie Clark.
David was educated in the Dougherty County School System, after graduating, he held numerous of jobs
in the city before enlisting in the U.S. Army. After serving in the military, he returned home, where he
became employed at Procter and Gamble until his retirement. David is best known for his favorite
hobby, repairing cars for many individuals. He loved to talk and spending time with family and friends.
David also loved to cook and make buttermilk and sweet potatoes pies.
He preceded in death by his mother, Dollie Clark, two sisters, Doreatha and Willie Mae, and two brothers George and Essick.
He was joined in Holy Matrimony to Mrs. Darlene Clark on September 21, 1995. They were together for many years and celebrated many milestones together.
He leaves to cherish his memories, his wife of 28 years Mrs. Darlene Clark, two daughters, Nonya and
Precious and three sons Benjamin, Calvin, and Tracy and 18 grandchildren, his father, Willie Clark, two sisters, Annie Clark of
Albany, GA, Mary Clark of Perry, GA; one brother, James Clark of Albany, GA; and a host of cousins, nieces, and nephews.
