Charlie Bynum Jr. was born on December 5,1930 to the late Charlie Sr. and Queen Esther Bynum in Albany, Georgia. He departed this life on October 5, 2023 at his home in Albany, Georgia.
Charlie attended public school in Dougherty County where he later graduated from Madison High Formally known as Monroe High School. Mr. Bynum later become a brick mason and was known as the tile slayer. He was a faithful member of First Monumental Faith Ministries.
Mr. Bynum worked for Himan and Pools for over 30 Years and once he retired, he started his own company Bynum Tile Service in the late 80s. His motto was "He Might Not Be the Best but He Better Than the Rest!" Mr. Bynum later married Georgia Ann Bynum of 54 years and to this union nine children were born. He was preceded in death by his wife Mrs. Georgia Ann Bynum, Two daughters Angela Bynum Snell and Lutricha Hayes, one brother Henry Baker and one sister Idessa Bynum Nealey.
He leaves to cherish and mourn his loving memories his Three daughters, Linda (Sam) Shaw III, Debbie (Frederick) Randall, and Shernita Bynum all of Albany, Georgia; Four sons, Charlie (Vatwana) Bynum III, Donald Bynum, Michael Bynum, and Tony Bynum all of Albany, Georgia; one sister Hazel Bynum Jenkins; one sister-in-law Katie Mae Jordan; twenty-six grandchildren, forty-two great grandchildren, a host of nieces ,nephews, cousins, other relatives ,friends and one God- Daughter Gladys Curry of Albany, Georgia.
