Cameron Hicks was born to John A. and Rose Hicks on May 11, 1972. He was a native of Albany, Georgia.
He was educated in the Calhoun County School System, graduating in 1990 from Calhoun County High in Edison, GA. Immediately after high school, Cameron enlisted in the U.S Marines. Cameron did everything with honesty and integrity. He enjoyed telling stories and helping others. He had a gift of making everyone feel like family. He had very strong values and was well liked by everyone, mostly due to his positive energy. His family meant more to him than anything else in the world, something he proudly and often mentioned. His three daughters were the light of his life and his relationship with his mother and father, sister and brothers was cherished above all else. He was an amazing father, grandfather, son, brother, uncle, nephew, cousin, colleague, and friend. He touched the lives of so many people. He will truly be missed and will never, ever, be forgotten. He gave his life to Christ at an early age and joined Enon Baptist Church, Edison, Ga. He later moved membership and joined Faith Holiness Church, Arlington, Ga. Our Lord and Savior Jesus Christ called him home to be with Him on March 24, 2023.
He leaves to cherish his memories to his parents John A. and Rose Hicks, three daughters, Nia Hicks, Jada Hicks, and Brooklyn Hicks, one grandchild, Arbin Berry III, four siblings, Marcus (Sharon) Lee, Kimberly Hicks (Edrik), John A. Hicks Jr. and Travis (Casandra) Hicks, seven nieces and nephews, Jalen Lee, Ciera Anderson, Leandria Cannon, Justin Hicks, Ayanna Lee, Caleb Hicks, Nashiya Hicks, three special friends, Delphia Cornish (Dusty), Melvin Jones, Frederick Robinson, and a host of aunts, uncles and cousins.
