Benjamin Franklin Robinson, II was born on April 3, 1971, to Benjamin Franklin Robinson and Gloria Bennett Robinson at Moody AFB Hospital, Valdosta GA. He was affectionately called “Benjee, Ben, Worm and Germany.” His life departure was sudden on June 7, 2024; as a shock with deep wounds and are gravely felt by his family and countless others. Still we trust God.
He was raised in a home with unconditional love and support from his parents and older sister Rayna LaTess Robinson who adored him. He was educated in Base schools in a military environment where his father was stationed. Benjee graduated from Bitburg American High School in West Germany in 1989. After high school graduation he returned to the States and attended Albany State College and Valdosta State College.
He was nurtured in a Christian home and at an early age accepted Christ as his Personal Savior and was water baptized on January 6, 1980 at First Baptist Church of Balboa Heights, Republic of Panama, Reverend James D. Watson, Pastor. After returning to his family’s home in Baconton GA; guided by his grandparents, Reverend Dewey & Virdell Robinson and Deacon L.C. & Elizabeth Bennett, he was led to unite with the New Salem MB Church, under the leadership of Reverend J.D. Bolden.
God blessed him with three beautiful loving children; Tia Bene’ Robinson, Dorren Allen Robinson and Trinity Amazin Robinson.
He was an overall athlete, involved and excelling in many sports in high school; over the years Ben made many strong and lasting friendships. Not only did he love sports, he enjoyed the life of a military kid traveling to many, many places during his father military career. He enjoyed life to the fullest. His presence would light up a room. No one who ever met him forgot his
infectious smile and his diehard passion for his beloved Philadelphia Eagles football team. That was his team “Win or lose!”
His work experiences included Cagle’s Keystone, Camilla GA; Pratt Industries, Albany GA and Georgia Pacific, Albany GA.
He leaves to cherish his memories, both his Father and Mother, his sister, his children, many, many family members and friends.
