Lewis was preceded in death by his parents Charlie and Bessie Briley-Quimbley, two brothers Ulysees and Herbert James Quimbley, Sister, Eva Annette Williams, daughter Shonta Sherrod, and Son, Lewis Bernard Quimbley.
Lewis leaves to cherish his memories,his loving wife, Annie Sherrod-Quimbley, his daughters, Leatrice (Robert) Willis of Albany, Georgia, Jacqueline Quimbley of Thomasville, Georgia, Banesia Wright of Florida, April Quimbley (Jeff) of Florida, Lastrarr Williams (Mike) of Pennsylvania, Jacqueline Sherrod (Darryl) of Charlotte, N.C. and Denise Tidwell (Eugene) of Charlotte, N.C. his sons, Reginald Quimbley of Albany, Georgia, James Earl Silas of Oklahoma, Tyran Dargan of Brooklyn, N.Y, Terrell Dargan of Brooklyn N.Y, Lewis Williams, Brooklyn, N.Y, James Sherrod(Antionette) of Brooklyn, N.Y, Donald Andrews (Pattie) of Charlotte, N.C. 39 Grandchildren and 26 Great grandchildren, his siblings, Lula Mae Knight of Moultrie, Georgia; Annie Lois Burley of Camilla, Georgia, Mable (Frank) White of Brooklyn, New York, Emma Ruth (Climmie) Wimberly of Lithonia, Georgia; Charlie James Quimbley of Baconton, Georgia, Devon (Nancy) Quimbley of Brooklyn, New York, Edgar (Sherri) Quimbley of Griffin, Georgia, Marvin Quimbley of Atlanta, Georgia and a host of nieces, nephews, cousins, and friends.
