Deacon James Thomas Williams, Jr was born in Newton, Georgia on January 8, 1940 to the late Mr. James Thomas Williams and Mrs. Mamie Williams. James dedicated his life to Christ in 1969, he served his Lord and Saviour as an Affirmed Prophet/Minister and served as a Deacon until he said Yes Lord Yes on June 8, 2020. James lived his life serving and loving people, he never met a stranger, always showing the love of Christ wherever he went.
Monday evening June 8, 2020 James Thomas Williams, Jr. peacefully transitioned from labour to reward. He was preceded in death by his daughter, Evelyn Williams.
His celebration of life will be remembered by his wife Sarah Williams, two daughters, Libby Williams Parker (Milton Parker) of Marietta, GA, Patricia Williams Hicks (Morris Hicks) of Albany, GA and five sons Willie Williams, Tommy Williams, Richard Williams, Michael Williams (Nicollette Walker Williams), Kenneth Williams all of Albany, GA; and nine grandchildren, Adriana C. Parker, Byron J. Parker, of Marietta, GA, Terence Williams, Morris C. Hicks, Gebral B. Hicks (Aaliyah Marshall Hicks), Nautica Hadley, Brian Williams, Bishop Crowley, Quantavious Williams of Albany, GA; and two great grands Audrina M. Parker and Symphony A. Hicks. Three sisters, Willie Mae Williams of Albany, GA, Lilly Belle Jones, Cordelia Williams both of Colquitt, GA and Four brothers George Williams of Albany, GA, John L. Williams (Venetia) of McDonough, GA, George G. Williams (Pauline) of Colquitt, GA, Freddy L. Williams of Colquitt, GA and a host of aunts, uncles, nieces, nephews, cousins, other relatives and friends.
